All article ideas will be considered by the staff. Any student requesting to write an article or submit a graphic/cartoon will be asked to attend a Type One staff meeting to be introduced to the appropriate section editor for guidelines and submission deadlines.
Letters to the editor will be noted as such and posted in the opinion section. The editorial board has the right to edit letters for grammar, punctuation, or spelling as needed but will not alter the meaning of any submissions. Also, the editorial board has the right to refuse to publish any criticism that contains hurtful, hateful commentary that is not constructive or unsubstantiated by fact. Additionally, Type One will not produce letters deemed libelous, obscene, or an invasion of the rights or privacy of others.Letters to the editor should be 250 words or less.
